FAQ • Is the status for each type of sent message transmitted to the handler when using cascading distribution
When cascading, that is, sending different types of messages sequentially when previously sent messages are not delivered, only the final status of the last sent message in the chain is transmitted to the client handler.
The type of message for which the final status of delivery or non-delivery of the message was eventually received is passed in the "type" parameter. For more information about the parameters passed to the handler, see our documentation in
this section.
For the SMPP protocol, only the final status of the last message in the chain is also transmitted, and the type and cost of the message are transmitted in additional
tlv fields.
